"Kid's Bible Club Check the Show and Tell site. An orphanage for
thrift store cover
art. A sort of on line support group if you will. A sickness maybe,
but the good news is you're not alone anymore.

I find the Christian records fascinating. Kid's Bible Club for one and
Geraldine and Ricky in
particular. Alright. Enough of this. Got my own record to make. Enjoy!"

"Just in time for Gavin's first report card. Take a short look
back to an historical time San Francisco history when Matt Gonzales
nearly became the first Green Party mayor of San Francisco. Imagine
music and politics coming together just like it used to! I I was there.
It happened. And no one got hurt. Read Squids take on one of the benefit
shows put on around town in support of Mr Gonzales campaign at the
Great American Music Hall with organizer Jonathan Richman, American
Music Club, Cake, Me and Stephie, and host of others. It's not over.
We'll get em next time."

A radio session from August is available
in streamed format at http://www.kexp.org/.
You'll find an interview and acoustic versions of "After the rain"
and "I bow down and pray to every woman I see".
Prophet imagines music between the radio stations. Here's an article from the Oak
Leaves archives for your reading pleasure by Robert Loerzel.
Kelly Stoltz get's the Antique Glow out of his living room onto CD.
And with some luck maybe even into the stores. Never heard of him? What
is it with Detroit and freaks? Your questions could be answered
in this SF Weekly piece.

On July 30th, Chuck and the Mission Express taped a performance in the

(Canadian), You name 'em. The show is scheduled to air sometime in November.

"On the road

Carlos Guitarlos goes Hollywood! Well, sort of! Carlos' new CD,
"Straight from the Heart" is reviewed on NPR's "Fresh
Air with Terry Gross" click here.
Catch up on the latest on our favorite living toothless
bluesman in this award winning Bob Baker LA
Times piece. And if that isn't respectable enough, Carlos is romanced
by Mick Fleetwood. Will Carlos
take over for Lindsey Buckingham? Stay tuned.
Warren Zevon RIP --- For those of you who don't already know. The world
lost one of the true greats. Warren Zevon died in his sleep Sunday at
home. A unique voice, a gift for songwriting, a twisted wit and a bottomless
thirst for Mountain Dew are a few of the things he'll take with him.
They don't make them like Warren Zevon anymore.
Enjoy every sandwich. http://story.news...
